Whimsical Fused Glass
Get your whimsy on with this introduction to fused glass art. You'll be using stringers, dots, curves, and scraps of glass to create your unique piece of glass art. No experience required, just your creativity!

Join us for an intimate conversation with exhibiting artist Katherine Diuguid, whose work is currently on exhibit in the Osborne and Woodson galleries.

Junior ARTpops: Clay Bunnies
Young artists will create adorable clay bunnies in celebration of the return of spring. Using hand-building techniques of rolling, cutting, and pinching, students will assemble heads, ears, eyes and tails, then finish them with paint-on glazes, which will turn colorful upon firing in the kiln.

The decoration of eggs is an age old craft. Fabrege̕ eggs, first designed around 1880, are among the most exquisite. Design your own jeweled beauty using an authentic blown-out goose egg. Inspired by Fabrege̕, embellish your egg with faux diamonds and pearls, richly pigmented paints, gold leaf and more.
All Day Workshop, Surrealist Painting-Not Pie in the Sky! with Ráed Al-Rawi
In this workshop, Al-Rawi will demonstrate creating a surreal atmosphere using dry brush technique with acrylic paint, and guide students individually.
Unlocking the Mysteries of Depth and Light, Master Class Series
Take your paintings to the next level with in-depth lessons on linear and aerial perspective, and the advanced use of light effects resulting in exciting and convincing paintings. This class is for students who have already studied the fundamental principles of composition and color.
Just for Toddlers: Let's Go Fly a Kite!
Lifted by the wind and guided by a string, kites are fun for all ages. In this class, toddlers will decorate their kites with all kinds of colorful drawings, shapes and stickers.
Junior ARTpops: Stitch into Spring
Inspired by exhibiting artist Katherine Diuguid, students will stitch and embellish small original creations for decoration or practical use. No sewing experience is necessary.
All Day Workshop: Weeds-Inspired Needlebook
In this workshop, participants will stitch a small needlebook inspired by Katherine's "Weeds" collection. Techniques include Appliqué, Stem Stitch, Running Stitch, French Knots, and Seeding. Finished size is 3”x3”. High-end materials kits provided. All kits include linen, wool felt, cotton embroidery flosses, needles, and instructional booklet. Bring a bag lunch. (Embroidery experience required).
Junior ARTpops: Magical Box of Secrets
Inspired by the work of exhibiting artist Hope Holmes, students will create and decorate a container to display their own most important and personal objects.
Meet the Artists and Opening Reception
Join us this evening in the galleries, where you can meet the exhibiting artists and enjoy their works of art. Refreshments and wine will be served. This event is free.

Hand & Wheel Pottery, Class Series
Join instructor and professional potter, Brent Smith, in the studio for all things clay. Beginners will learn the basics of hand-building and throwing on the wheel. Experienced students will improve their skills and explore new approaches.
